Paula is a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist, managing her own private practice, working with both adults and young people, including Christian and non-Christian clients. Additionally, she provides freelance counselling services to primary and secondary schools. Paula is deeply committed to supporting the mental wellbeing of young people, helping them to thrive and reach their full potential. She is also dedicated to empowering parents in supporting their children’s mental health.
Having worked with clients with significant issues such as self-harm, suicide, anxiety, depression, and loneliness, Paula feels called to pioneer a service where the church actively engages in addressing this mental health crisis, aiming to be a key part of the solution for all. Her goal is to illuminate these dark spaces and help set people free.
As the CEO of a youth work charity in Derbyshire, Mandy oversees the establishment of appropriate processes and procedures to ensure the effective use of resources. With a professional qualification in youth and community work and over 25 years of experience, she deeply values the role of youth work.
Mandy is committed to ensuring that her youth workers possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to deliver consistent, high-quality youth work provision. Her passion for youth work as a transformative tool continues to drive her efforts. She has developed and delivered numerous programs that have empowered many young people to gain the confidence and skills needed to lead the lives they aspire to.
Julie holds a BA (Hons) degree in Counselling from Waverley Abbey and is pursuing a Level 6 Diploma in Integrative Creative and Play Therapy. She brings extensive experience in working with children and young people, including 15 years in a residential home for children aged 6-18 years who faced emotional and behavioural challenges due to adverse childhood experiences.
Julie currently serves as a Support Worker within a mental health crisis drop-in service, offering support to individuals experiencing crises in person and online. As a mother of five and a grandmother to four, and with experince of parenting a young person with a autism diagnosis, Julie is deeply committed to supporting parents, particularly in navigating parenting challenges and emphasizing self-care. She is passionate about helping individuals recognize their own value and worth. Julie is dedicated to providing services that promote early healthy attachments and foster secure relationships throughout the lifespan.
Lindy is a registered and accredited Psychotherapist who adopts an integrative approach to therapy, recognizing that no single model of counselling suits everyone. She primarily works within school settings, assisting children and young people who face a wide range of difficulties and issues. Additionally, Lindy serves as a Children & Families Minister at St Leonard’s Church in Wollaton. These roles enable her to support a diverse group including adults, parents, families, children, and young adults in the community.
Lindy is deeply committed to aiding people in deprived areas of Nottingham by providing accessible counselling services to those who need it but might not afford it. She fervently hopes that no one ever feels alone and believes that a kingdom-driven service can bring Christlike individuals to address the current mental health crisis effectively. Lindy feels privileged to be a part of the Revive Team and is eager to see how God will use this vital service to make a significant impact.
ANASTASIA SEALE / THERAPIST
Anastasia is a qualified integrative counsellor working with adults, young people and children, in private and voluntary sectors. She is a member of both British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and Association of Christians in Counselling (ACC). With a background in parent-child relationships, attachment issues and intergenerational trauma, she is passionate about compassionately and empathically supporting each client as they work through their difficulties, such as depression, thoughts of suicide, anxiety, self-injury and low self-esteem. She is committed to helping clients feel more secure and accepted within their respective families and in their other relationships. She strongly believes that a healthy family unit is a foundation for a healthy society.
Anastasia is also a qualified non violent resistance (NVR) practitioner. Having run NVR groups for parents within NHS, she now delivers NVR trainings privately and empowers parents and carers of violent and self-destructive children and young people to defuse aggression as well as to rebuild loving family relationships.
Jill holds a BA (Hons) in Counselling and is a registered member of the BACP and the ACC. She brings a wealth of experience from both her private practice and her years of work with a charity, where she has supported a team of counselling trainees and volunteers, conducted clinical assessments, alongside managing her own caseload.
With a warm and empathic approach, Jill works integratively, helping clients navigate complex emotional issues, particularly in the realm of difficult or painful relationships. She has experience working with survivors of trauma, and individuals facing challenges with anxiety and depression. Jill also has a special interest in supporting clients who are struggling with faith and spirituality, offering a safe space for reflection. She is deeply passionate about helping people find freedom from the pain of their past, with self-compassion being a cornerstone of her therapeutic work.
Outside of her professional life, Jill enjoys spending time with her family, taking beach walks in all kinds of weather, and diving into a good book. She looks forward to connecting with you and supporting your journey towards healing and growth.
Olivia is an enthusiastic trainee counsellor, diligently working towards her integrative counselling degree at Waverley Abbey College. Her academic journey is complemented by hands-on experience in providing compassionate support to individuals navigating the complexities of everyday life. Currently, Olivia serves as a senior support worker with SHE UK in Mansfield, where she plays a role in supporting survivors of childhood sexual abuse. In this capacity, she offers critical emotional support to those grappling with the affects of trauma, facilitating peer groups and support sessions that foster healing. Olivia’s commitment to counselling is deeply rooted in her belief in a holistic approach to wellbeing. Olivia strives to support and empower individuals by providing them with the necessary support, resources and safe environment to overcome their struggles and work towards a more balanced and hope-filled life.
